Ben lives in Berkhamsted, having grown up in Tring and he has had homes around Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire, so knows the area very well.

Ben has two young children whom he devotes his attention and energy. He spends his remaining energy keeping active by cycling and running.

Ben has a passion for property maintenance and started McDonald Property Services when he decided to put his passion to use and help others. Ben cares about his community and is proud to give back and invest in those around him.

About Us

McDonald Property Services was founded in 2020 and provides Handyman services to residents in and around Hertfordshire and some of Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire. We aim to be a trustworthy service for local residents and provide a friendly, personable and affordable experience.

Alongside handyman services, we're also project managers for a large home renovation firm. From kitchen restoration to full-scale remodelling, McDonald Property Services has the expertise to achieve their clients' visions.

Finally, we are proud to be certified TV & HIFI installers for Richer Sounds, the UK's largest Home Entertainment retailer.

"Ben assessed the project of a major leak I had through my bedroom wall. He came over and meticulously striped the wall paper, as to not take off more paper than needed so he didn't overcharge and helped minimise the damage and repair. He treated the wall, re-painted and the window sill, blending it in with the rest of the room so it looks like there was no repair in the first place. He was on time, worked hard, great eye for detail, and tidied up everything, involving hoovering and making the whole area totally clean. He also came back and put up my blinds again.
